Our story
KENYA HOMES FOR EVERY CHILD was founded in 2013 by individuals who, as children, experienced life on the streets without parental guidance in Machumba. One of the founders, around the age of 13, encountered a compassionate couple who offered them shelter, food, and love—changing their life forever. Motivated by this act of kindness, they invited a friend from the streets to join them, and together, they grew alongside three younger siblings. With a piece of land generously gifted by their grandmother, they established the KENYA HOMES FOR EVERY CHILD orphanage, welcoming six more children who had also lost their parents.
This life-changing experience sparked their desire to spread happiness, leading to the birth of "KENYA HOMES FOR EVERY CHILD." Today, the orphanage is a safe haven for children in the area who have lost their parents or need assistance, providing hope and a path towards a brighter future.
In the early days, the founders themselves taught the first group of children fundamental subjects like math and English. Since 2015, two committed teachers have been nurturing and educating the children on weekdays. The orphanage now operates as a preschool for children aged 3-6, offering a supportive environment where they begin their educational journey. Some children live at the orphanage, while others stay with extended family or have found loving homes in the local community. The support from the community is truly heartwarming.
About Me

Turning a blind eye to this reality was never an option. They have found immense love here and have witnessed profound hardship, which is why they decided to support KENYA HOMES FOR EVERY CHILD and seek others who are equally passionate about making a difference. They firmly believe that:
